English days : 1 ST -5 TH Grade Primary

Dear families,

As part of our English project, we are pleased to present our annual ‘English Days’. This year, the event takes place over the 7 th , 8 th , and 9 th of April and we have organised a range of CLIL activities for the students to engage and take part in.

Over the 3 days, ordinary classes will be transformed and the pupils, depending on their grade, will learn about the following topics.

• 1st GRADE: IRELAND and Leprechauns
• 2nd GRADE: ENGLAND and Robin Hood
• 3rd GRADE: SCOTLAND and The Loch Ness Monster
• 4 th GRADE: THE ANGLOPHONE WORLD: Canada
• 5 th GRADE: THE ANGLOPHONE WORLD: Australia

Your children will familiarise themselves with different aspects of different anglophone cultures and will take part in a whole range of tasks, focusing on all four abilities and integrating them across all subjects of the curriculum.
